You'd be surprised what a ray can adapt to when turned loose. Piranha as well.

When I lived in Texas, people where catching pacu and other random pets turned loose. There is a lake down by Houston that could pass for Malawi with the fish you can see in there.

Houston is like a green house with the big thick smog cloud over it. When I was there last year the humidity and heat was insane.
