My street is basically flooded, basement is flooding. Other parts of my city have about 2-3 feet of water. Emergency was called in a few other cities.

damn, I didn even know there was flooding going on anywhere, y is this? from the last hurricane or is it just a storm?????
well, they're saying that we got 9 inches of rain in rhode island overnight which is incredible. My street this morning had about half a foot of rainfall forming a little lake. I live right off of a river that runs into a stream that runs into a lake. So my neighbors that live right across from me had the lake actually go into their back yard and seep into their home. My pops purchased a pump to pump all the water out because there was about 3 inches of water in their bedroom in the basement. But whenever we pump water out, it just keeps seeping back in. The rest of the basement has a small layer of water but everythings fine. There were parts of my city where there was 4-5 feet of water and they actually had to evacuate a few people, but its nothing really bad. Nothing like down south.
And in MA. I just left today with major flooding occurring not far from where my mom's place is. I'm in SC now, and boy is the weather purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdy

awwww, wish it were snow. so much more fun that way. Yeah, thats new england weather for you. Its wicked nice today, and theres no more flood water in the basement. 
Wow thats bad, I just put up a thread about my basesment flooding, its not severe, 1"-3" on the whole floor, not one spot is dry.
my g/f's 600k house is liek this... i ahd to go over there until an hour ago and help clean everything up, rugs, couches, pool table, ping pong table, tv all ruined..... dam water table is so high now
