I have 4 wide bars in a 240 comm. One I have noticed losing a lot of scales the past week. I have been keeping my eye on it the last couple of days and he isn't getting beat up, he is the aggressor! He is just losing scales as he bangs on stuff. There are 4 other species of SD plus other stuff but just the wide bars are involved. They are about 3 years old. Pre-spawning behaviour or just a butt hole?
