Wide Bar or Indo? pic inside, ID please

Ok...Here is some pictures that the Dat I was talking about. He is 13-14" The owner have taken some pictures today for me with his camera phone. It's not the best pictures but it give you guys some ideas what species it is.

It look like Indo to me....but again does it worth it to but this guy for $400?

Yes, that's an Indonesian datnoid (Datnioides microlepis) and a very nice looking one at that! I can't comment on the price, as that may vary greatly depending on location.

I heard Indo can Grow up to 18".....is it's rare to get this big then. I was think if this was widebar i was going to take it...but now it's indo so I'm having a second thought about it.

but he look nice, big fat, and healthy.

400$ for a 13 inch Indo? thats a little crazy as you can get the babies for 20 bucks of less and just grow them to that size yourself. Looks pretty stable though.

Beautiful IT. Forget what its worth. Pay what YOU are willing to pay.

I would be willing to pay $100-150 for that particular fish. Some may pay some may pay less.

Dont ask for what you are willing to pay right of the bat. Explain to him that it is not a wide but an Indo and that young are selling $12-20. Be careful to not sound rude or arrogant when doing so. Start with $150 and see where it goes.
