for sale is a wide-barred datnoid, i think their also known as siamese tiger fish, and i think they have other names also.

heres some pics.

he's doing fine, takes live foods and doesnt hide all the time. very calm and peaceful, will follow my foot around the tank. great resale value, when they get bigger, they are worth a fortune.
currently, i think he is around 4'', im not sure exactly, didnt want to stress him by measuring.

i live in Socal, 91789 area. near Los Angeles.
Local Pickup ONLY. no shipping, i dunno how.

feel free to PM me offers, or post here. i wont take anything less than $50.

also for sale is a jardini with a nipped fin, if anyone is interested. o_O.

how big do they go and can they be with tigrinus, bichir, and stingrays?

they can get 2' i believe. if not, its 1', either way they get huge. i've seen wes' wide barred at his store, and its big.

they should get along with those fish because datnoids are peaceful, they wont/cant kill any fish. at worst, they kinda headbutt them, but its nothing that'll harm your fish.

if you ask around, you'll find these are VERY RARE!!!
wes only gets shipments of these ONCE A YEAR, and that is at MOST.
i am selling mine because im converting to saltwater, and need to get rid of my freshwater fish. i wish i could keep this guy, but i cant =\.

hold it in my TANK! ill pay u sometime i have no clue. but ill pay u!
or just sell it :( but take ur time ill come up with some money :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2

how many do you have? :D what do they eat and what are their water parameters??? :D

i have 1. they eat small feeders or you can train them to get off live food and take prepared foods like shrimp, krill, or beef heart probably.
they like slightly brackish waters. i think my water has a ph level or 7.5-8, and he's doing fiine.

"brackish waters" meaning black water extracts? sorry for my lack knoledge base on this fish since this is my first encouter on datnoids. what about temp? :screwy: do you think they can adjust to non brackish waters? hope i'm not getting into your nerves... just want a nice but not too complicated fish to take care. :)

brackish means having a little bit of salt in the water.
temp around 78+ is fine. i have mine in around 86 right now. but you shouldnt pass 86 obviously, unless your treating for disease.
they do fine in freshwater, but i put some salt in there anyways.
