My 4 year old silver has been very calm since he was a baby. I recently got rid of everything in the tank except for my 10" widebar. I put 2 large oscars in the other day and they just fought. I took out the oscars because the Aro has now been jumping hitting the tops. Not just jumping randomly, but scouting out then hitting more than 5 times in one spot. Almost like he is looking for a weak spot to get out. Anyone with any thoughts on this please chime in.

is there something on top he's trying to eat? mine does that.

No tops are clean I thought maybe something was up thee too but nothing I put more rocks on top but worried he is gonna break the glass soon

Size of tank? They get like that when feeling tight in space....

Water parameters good no change temp is good not changed in years tank is 96x24x32. He is aprox. 26" I was wondering that too that he has just had enough and wants out for some reason

wsh the glass, check under the ligts to see if there is something there
instinct have them jumpfor food

thsiis natural, i see it all the time when a bug lands on the glass
