Wierd BGK behavior

I just got a BGK a couple days ago and i have him in a 55 (for now) with some juvi american cichlids, a ropefish, a pictus, and a tiny crayfish.

I have been handfeeding it raw shrimp and it always takes it straight out of my hand. The wierd thing is, after the BGK takes the shrimp in his mouth, he immediately goes over to the little crayfish and rubs him and circles him, and then they share the shrimp. I have probably hand fed it shrimp 13 times, and probably 11 of those times, it has shown this behavior. Any ideas why there doing this? Are they just friends, or is this some kind of symbiotic relationship thing?

but be careful coz crayfish are sometimes unpredictable.
