Wierd Blue thing in my ghost shrimp

I looked at my tank today and when I saw one of my ghost shrimp, I saw this huge bright blue thing inside of it. I knew it couldn't have been some of the flake food I feed my fish because the flakes are not that color and I hadn't fed them since the night before (at least 12 hours ago).

Does anyone know what it is? It's really weird, Here's a picture (in the picture it looks darker, but its bright blue:

REALLY! I thought the eggs form on the legs of the shrimp. Are you sure?

Yep, my ghosts always got those. You'll see them get more detailed and look like a big blob of eggs!

this is a berried shrimp. maybe before the eggs droP?

I'm no expert, but I do believe those are eggs, they show up near the stomach area and are transferred to the legs soon afterward.

do you think that other fish will eat the eggs? It's a pretty open tank.

Yep, if there are fish in there the eggs will never hatch.

Okay, I'm not sure if I want anymore ghost shrimp(x2) since they were really aggressive towards my fish and single handedly extinctified my entire neon tetra race (5).
