Wierd Oddball- ID PLEASE

Never seen this fish before. Saw it at lfs this weekend and the guy called it a "Four-Eyed Fish". The pics suck! I know, but picture this. It has 2 frog-like eyes and in EACH frog eye, there are 2 eyeballs in it. Understand?? So each eye has 2 eyeballs in it, hence "four-eyed fish"

Maybe some of you have seen this before but I haven't and was trippin out on it. Completely odd ball to me and almost picked it up. It was about 5" and going for $40. Is that right for that size and price??

Price around here is $14.99 - tough keep and don't ship well, or at least they never look good when they come in from the wholesaler. They get as big as a foot.

It mostly just stayed up at the surface. Looks like the 2 eyeballs at the top would look straight ahead and the lower 2 eyeballs can look downward. weird man,......... cool looking tho

I was just thinking about this fish the other day. They are livebearers and the artical referenced above is one of the best on this fish. $40.00 is a little steep for them.
