Wierd white billowy fungus

i just have a 75 gallon tank and since this morning their is a lot of white particles coming out of nowhere, and i notice then when i dropped in pleco sinking food, white billowy stuff started to form on it yet when pulled it it dissolves away, but in the water the fungus seems to be thick
