Wierd?!

So bichiirs get victimized by getting their slime coats eatten by a rhino pleco? that is strange, why would the bichir be such a prime target for this?

Wouldn't the pleco eating the slime coat be solved by the use of a proper diet for the pleco ?

Sometimes a good diet works, but some plecos just love the slime coat. I have noticed that it happens more often at night and if they share the same hiding cave.

Stay away from plecos of genus Pterygoplichthys. Other genus of plecos seems to do fine with ganoid scaled fish.
