I was walking around my LFS and saw that they had some retics for sale. They were pretty healthy which made me beg my wife for yet ANOTHER ray. After i brought it home, of course straight to Q-tank. After acclimation, i decided to try feeding it. Through in a bunch of blackworms, chopped earthworms, cut up prawns, and some pellets. You'll never guess what it wouldnt eat and what it ate. I checked back half an hour later to find all the prawn peices gone, and 1 pellet left. Whats really wierd is, all the chopped earthworms and blackworms were left untouched....Out of all teh rays ive kept, the LAST thing they would eat was pellets and prawns...I cant beleive how picky this retic is. Anyways of getting retic on worms? Shrimp dont really have fat and i really wanna pack this girl up for the first week or so. And since she dont like blackworms, i cant "marinate" earthworms in juice LMAO.

dont argue a baby retic eating pellets and prawn.... dont even offer it the worms anymore :)

Perhaps the previous shop already trained the little weirdo....lol

Pics will be up after work, but damn, i though it would just clear up the worms and leave everything else. Except it cleared out the shrimp and pellets and left all the worms LOL. Whats wierd is, even if she was trained to eat pellets and shrimp, i doubt they wouldve just left the blackworm alone XD. I knew they were picky, didnt know they were THAT picky:D.

Lucky; my retics are picky, even about earthworms.

As promised, pics are attached. Shes about 5" disc and market prawns like mad. What even more cool is, it hasnt been all that long since ive brang her home, and she already eats out of my hand!
