well when i first got these two they were about 1.5 in and the jag was tearing up the o i mean taking off all the scales on his side. well i decided to leave them in and let them work it out and eventually the jag kinda backed off a little to where there was no more damage left. they are in a 30 gal and two days ago i switched them to a better lookin 30 to go in my bedroom and now that i switche dthem my jag is a total puss. he hides and doesnt really come out. its like they switched bodies or somethin.
is there a reason why? or a way to maybe even it out? they are eventually goin in mt 120 together so they need to work out there issues soon ;)

eh they are fine in there for a little bit longer. they are three inch fish in a 30 gallon tank. they have plenty of room.
n he chases him.

I had 1 oscar and 2 RBP in a 30 gal, when they started getting to big for it, they changed their behaviour, becoming lazy and skitish, this was right before I moved them to a 100 gal. Now they're active and feisty again. maybe you have the same problem.

I also noticed that even with water changes every 3 days, the water smelled, see if yours is the same, maybe its time for a new home.

If you just put the Jag and the O in a new tank, it may take some time for the Jag to readjust to his new surroundings. I also see from your Tank setup that you are pretty well stocked already. If you add the Jag and O to that mix you will have other issues. Once the Jag gets older and larger his behavior will likely change. They are usually territorial and aggressive when that territory is invaded. But that stock that you have in the 120 is borderline already without the O and Jag.

yea i have it way over filtered and i do about 30 % every 3 days it snot stinkin yet.
n my stock is gettin "adjusted" soon ;)
i will end up getting rid of the rtc soon before they go in and if the jag cuases problems he is out too. i have all my tanks way way over filtered so i hope it will be ok.
on the 120 i have 1000 gph in a 20 gal sump packed full of scrubbies and bio rings and sponges as well as two huge carbon bags and amonia bags just in case :)
but i think the jag is just gettin used to his new place. it seems like Os dont care where they go as long as they have food. but my O is def more aggressive now for some reason

They just need to get adjusted to the new tank, and if all the fish in your sig are in the 120 it won't work all but the Oscar and jaguar will outgrow that tank. But I'm not your parents so GL i guess.

When moved jags are really shy. They hide until they feel comfortable. Just give him some time and he will come around.

yea he is coming out now :) im just used to the oscar personality
