So here is my situation. My wife wants my black 55G to take to her new office cause it matches better then our 36G (tall) with a cherry stand.
So my 55 is my growout tank and my Chocolates haven from the GT that she was with in my 120. I know the Chocolate can't stay in the 55 or thee 36 for life. I plan on big moves in the next year so long term care isn't an issue.
Tanks that I'm going to have to swap:
55G currently: 7" chocolate, growouts: pictus, 3 Nics, FM
36G Tall: two common goldfish (kids won em at the fair)
So I have to swap these two tanks. My main concern of course is the Choc. I assume I can get away with about 9 months or so with all of these in that tank. The FM is growing VERY slow and the Nics I've had for a few months with little growth.
Now the 36 has just a HOB piece of crap on it right now cause I could give a crap about those fish. I do have a Cascade 1200 I can throw on it. Would that be too much water flow in there?
So I think that's it, as you can see I'm stressed about it and she wants it moved in just a couple hours. Thanks guys.
