Wil my pleco get burnt

So I brought a albino BN and every since I put him in he has been drawn to my heater. First he just went on the lead of the heater but now is sucking on the heater! I'm really worried about this as I hate it when fish die.

Did you just get the pleco? They sometime do this when in new environment. It won't get burn, they will move when the heat start to get hot.

Yeah i got the pleco a week ago. He goes on there for about 5 mins then moves on to a rock for a while

I keep my tank at 80

Yeah the reason I keep mine at 78 is I'm having cichlids in there soon and they need 72-78
