My pair of wild Amatitlania siquia
" Rio Tempisque" I picked up from TUIC at K2. They are the most beautiful cons I have ever kept.

Those are nice but I'm confused. I thought convicts were amatitlania nigrofasciata. Two different species with the same common name?

There are actually 4 different species in the convict complex - nigrofaciatus, kanna, siquia, and coatepeque.

The complex was split into the four species a few years ago. Some recognize the separate species, some don't. I've kept all four, and there are subtle difference between them all.
