Wild Bluegill In Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i had one that liked pellets and flakes

I got mine to eat Cichlid Gold and Bio Gold+, I feed the occassional earthworm when I can find them, and gut loaded crickets....they adjust really well to tank life, unlike some Bass and deffinantly Crappie.

I have a Large Mouth, Black Crappie and Bluegill all eating massivore. They love the stuff.

I keep PH at around 7.2 water temp around 75 give them a lot of vegetation. Ive never really come across any issues of instability with my crappie. His name is John Wayne. :)

I just brought home a bluegill that I caught fishing and I would like to know what else I could feed it besides worms =)

The carp fishermen at a local lake catch tons of them on sweet corn, shrimps, worms......pretty much anything you can think of, they will eat it. I'm hoping to have a few gills in my tank in a few weeks.
