If I was to raise wild brackish fish like weakfish, bluefish, northern puffers, and other fish WILD caught, would i have to get the water from the same bay i caught them from? If not how could i make the brackish water or where could i get it from?

oh yea also about how many times a month would i have to replace some of the water?
and would the gar pop the puffers? (just a funny thought)

just use instant ocean salt mix and some RO water, same as mixing saltwater only you're using less salt. if your tap water parameters are good then you could also use that. maintainence would depend on your fish, just like any other tank, aim for 3~4 times a month and about 20% each time. the gar would probably try to eat your puffers once it got big enough, hope you've got a large tank.

how big is this proposed tank? also, make sure you quarantine these fish and be ready to medicate for parasites.

ALL BW fish are wild-caught.

Nah, you could buy toadfish, anglerfish (the ones that walk), eels, and other things like shrimp crabs and mudskippers,

All the fish you mentioned are indeed wild caught, since they are not captive-bred.

I think it would bee a rare occassion to find a captive bred BW fish, other than maybe BBGs.
