I have two Bass. One at about 4 inches (WC....orinocensis) and a 5inch CB (Temenses)

The orino attacked the Tem causing major scratches . This was no other fish as the marks are definately Bass. This was at night and in the morning the orino just chased the Tem everywhere trying to kill it. They have grown up together since about 2inches.

I have now seperated them but the Tem could now be in danger from a Clown Knife due to it's size and possibly a foot long Gar. But at 5 inches it should be OK.

They where both in a 125 gallon tank and plenty of space at the time.

Could this be a WC V CB problem all of a sudden?

Just sounds like a pbass vs pbass problem.

typical orino behaviour, you should get more bass to spread agression.. If you can remember James had to get rid of his orinos cause they were hassling his other bass too..

my orino does that to one of my pbs that 3inches bigger then him and of course the tems his size...just make sure you have enough bass to spread the aggression.

Different Tanks now. Are you saying that even at 10 inches they will fight?

My mate has offered me £20 for the Tem? It might be better to keep the orino with the CK and the Poly and Siamese TF on it's own

How many is enough? I'm thinking of getting 6 2"ers for my 125g...

Will silver dollars serve the same purpose of adding more cichla? (or will the PBs focus on each other in terms of aggression, and ignore the SDs?)
