i wanna add 2 or 3 crays to my 55g tank, but last time i caught wild ones they had these lil white worm/ leech things on them. What can i add into a smaler tank as their quarentine tank. All i have on hand atm is a bottle of Quick Cure for ick and protozoan parasites. Would that be good or is there any other meds i can pick up before i go and get some crays

Pretty much any wild crayfish has worms, not all of which are parasitic. Some, like the branchiobdellids that poke out through joints and around the edges of the carapace, are harmless commensals, similar to remoras on a shark. What can happen is that the crayfish's normal, sustainable parasite load will shoot up if the crayfish is weakened by stress. So, just give it a quarantine tank with excellent water quality and a hide so it doesn't get stressed out while acclimating to captivity.

What do you reccomend i put into the quarantine tank such as meds? or just in perfect water and let there for like a week or 2 before adding to main tank?

Just clean water. If it's fairly hard, even better. I'd quarantine longer than that- 3 or 4 weeks is a good length of time to watch for health issues.

I've never had any issues with WC Crayfish before in my tanks. I do have three in my Native Tank right now, which I suppose isn't too big of a deal being all native, lol, but I've kept them in my African Cichlid tanks, etc.
But for treating the "worms" I'd look up "Parasite Clear" made by Jungle. Might be wrong, but I thought it treated that problem. Could be wrong, just something to read about. ;)
