Anyone know who has wild caught, true Texas cichlid from Texas and not from Louisiana? I'd like to get myself a few individuals of the "Rio Grande" perch.

I have seen threads on here about people who have collected or fished for them in Texas. That was a while ago, so maybe do a search?
here ya go....Just got back from Texas collected/fished in the San Antonio river saw/caught many such as texas cichlids, mollys, tilapia, plecos and the usual sunfish along with the unusual such as longears and redbreasts, with the exception of the sunfish all are introduced species, I also went to the border to collect the texas cichlid in its natural range, which I found in the Zacate creek which flows into the Rio Grande, along with livebearers and the ever present blue tilapia.....

This trip was from last year, I got 2 big males 6" and 3 females 4" left, still no spawns, I brought back some from San Antonio river a few years back they were easy to spawn not these.....these are from Laredo
