when you get wild caught fish do they retain there wild colours, like some RD's i've seen have alot of black on them but will they retain that colouring,i'm thinking of getting a pair of something wild caught for the 108 and i need to know what to expect

and feel free to post and brag about your WC fish
here are some of my ideas
RD's
red terrors
ODO's
anything ideas just let me know

I have a wild caught "Peruvian Port Acara" and it has rather drab colors and always has. I know one thing for sure is that wild caught fish (for me atleast) will eat like they will never be fed again. They deffinatly stuff their faces as fast as possible and with as much as possible. In the wild they never know when their next meal will be.

Well mine used to slam into the glass trying to get fingers and he would try and kill the algea scraper whenever it moved. He has learned not to go for fingers anymore though.

Well I don't have any pics of him attacking the algea scraper thing but I do have some pictures of him. He isn't at my house anymore though cuz he is staying at a friends of mine. He almost killed my 10" marbled pim so I am selling him.
