Wild caught fish from Ecuador?

Is this myth actually true? I've heard on here that its illegal to export fish from Ecuador but truth be told no one has showen any solid proof of this just what has been roaming. I bought some wild caught festaes off of aquabid. I asked the seller for proof and he showed the papers. I wish I could upload em but for some reason it says I don't have permission to. Anyways does anyone have hard proof that it is illegal?

Hey who did u get them from ?

I got mine from snookn21 on aquabid but even though he got them its not 100% positive they are really wild caughts. Even he said they might be farm raised sold as wild caughts.
All the papers say that the vendor he got them from has them labeled as wild caughts . I've heard true wild caughts are being illegally imported and sold in the states. Who ls bringing and what vendors have actual wild festaes is a mistery but I do know someone who most likely does have illegal wild caughts.

So he has some paper stating that someone else sold them to him as WC festae, but even he admits that they could be farm raised. So what exactly is that supposed to prove?

It proves nothing really cause its a unknown fact. No one really knows but his supplier or were his vendor got em from.
