I've seen that on occasions with Midas's.... I had one that I put in an outdoor pond that looked similar to that. They eventually either lean towards looking like a barred Midas or fade into a "standard" colored Midas. It would be neat if they did stay that way...... nice looking fish regardless.

I like the color to this midas alot, even with the battle scars, they make him look hard.
