Wild Crabs

I was thinking of taking a 10 gallon tank, putting about 4" sand in there, filling it up with salt water.. and picking up a crab from the beach? Sand and water would come right from the beach, I can also get the water from the beach almost daily. No heater, no filter, just aeration, and almost daily water changes.

Do you think this setup would work?

I don't see why it woulden't....It would be like its living on the beach....but in a glass container!

make sure the tank is sealed or very small gap in the back mine climbed up the air line repeatedly until it's untimely death miss that little bugger..
