Wild Dovii are different

I have kept dovii in the past with very little problem with aggression until they reach about 8 inches or so. I just recently picked up a wild 2 incher that i am thinking is male. He is a prick to say the least I would venture to guess i could not keep him with anything even at this size I have already removed a jag that was a little bigger than him in order to save its life.

Anyone else ever kept wild Dovii and had similar issues?

I think this is true with all wild caught fish as compared to tank raised fish. I've read numerous times that F0 fish are much more prone to early and hyper aggressiveness than those spawned and raised in a tank. in the wild there are far more potential predators around and a much greater competition for food. wild fish don't have their own tank with no risk of predators to eat them nor someone to come by and feed them 2-3 times per day.

ive heard that the dovii has no predators. mines lucky hes kind of a wussy.
