I've got a big problem with these parasites,
A mate droped a wild sleepy cod in my CA/SA com tank, I got rid of the cod as soon as i saw it there.
I sa it had these odd little parasites that caused these puss filled welts,
I hoped I got the cod out quick enough so they didnt spread.
A few of my fish have gotten them, My female RD/mutt has them really bad with large sores on her sides.
I took her out and pressed on a welt and it was full of puss and a fork tail little worm inside under her scales.
What can I do here?
So far I've raised the salinity of the water slightly and raised the temp,
also added melafix to try and aid the healing of her sores.
So please tell what I can do, Some of my larger fish are getting these mongrel little worms, which I had to pick off by hand.
cheers
