"Wild" green terror

Unfortunatly unless you know the vendor has an unscrupulous reputation there really is no way of knowing for sure.

Not like I've noticed such a recent surge in wild GTs showing up at online sources that I'd expect an overflow into an average lfs. Still, I can't speak to where a particular lfs sources its fish. But if I was considering buying because it was labeled wild I'd ask to see some documentation.

Or ime with wild GTs they're pretty pugnacious, even as juvies, whether toward other GTs, other tankmates, whatever. IME you'd be able to see a difference in behavior from most domestic GTs.

Ive seen many of these in stores but I feel as if Lfs just slap a sticker on a say wild caught what's your guys thoughts

I really really doubt they are wild caught but this also depends on the type and specialty of the store. The stores reputation is also extremely important. One major reason for myself believing they are not wild caught is as much as I thoroughly enjoy Green Terrors, why would a typical (assuming it is an average store) pet store import or catch wild caught Green Terrors? I mean they tend to be very common fish and fairly inexpensive depending on circumstances. True Green Terrors maybe but common (False) Green Terrors... I just do not understand the reasoning, unless a Green Terror fanatic or someone who really really enjoys Green Terrors and is familiar with them. I would personally love to have a wild caught Saum, but I just have never imported or ordered one of these types. Ultimately, one should definitely see some sort of documentation to help verify the claim.

+1, and I would also strongly suspect one would observe obvious differences in behavior.
