Thanks, I couldn't find it either. I swore someone here had some from an expedition down south. I saw some a while back that were unreal. Such an under appreciated species. I know of some fry recently brought back......but I am impatient and want an adult pair!! LOL :)

I remember seeing one on the CRC ... it was almost unrecognizable as dempsies ... totally unreal. Their spotting was in perfect, straight rows. The dorsal spotting was especially nice.

Agreed. I have seen photos of several specimens collected by European hobbyists, but that was years ago. Maybe I will have to raise up some of this guy's fry and see what happens. Man I need baby cichlids like a I need a hole in the head. Uuuuggggg. I bet they would be so very much worth it in the long run, though!!

I think that Rusty Wessel, who'll be speaking at the ACA convention next week, collected some a couple of years ago. He did a presentation a couple ACAs ago.
Matt
Thanks, Matt.
Of course I have training next week and cannot go to the ACA again this year. I will reach out for Rusty when he gets back and ask him though. Thanks for the lead!
