I wonder what the odds of this happening in the wild are? Hmmmmm. Not cool since I specifically bought them as wild morph.

Why don't you just call the vendor and see what he says instead of posting a random thread about it? I've already given you his phone number... Mistakes happen and I'm sure he'd be happy to give you a refund or credit if anything is off.

I'm sure he believed them to be wild morph. And all the other buyers can also be notified once you CONTACT THE SELLER.

That sucks. Hopefully were ever you got them will refund you. I would think wild morph ones changing would be extremely rare and extremely unlikely. Sounds like someone sold them falsely labled fry. It happens sometimes when you sell fry other people breed. If they are a reputable seller they should at least refund you. Still sucks as you had to pay shipping and you have the wrong fish.

I've had the same thing happen from 2 different vendors.

Well the red form is found naturally in the wild...so some wild fish do undergo the change. I just don't know the percentages. 1%? 10%? So far I've just noticed it in the one, so if the other three stay wild type I'm fine with that. I'll be calling him Friday, I've got school and work back to back to back to back until then, unless he is available at 11:30 eastern time?

Text him, Im sure you have 5 seconds to do that. He will respond, and just ask your question. Or better yet set up a time to call. I have contacted him at 2 a.m. before.

I have one red morph growing out with some pikes and he looks just like the one you posted that's 'morphing' he's almost all orange now, but he started out almost white. I dig the orange, I do understand that's not what you paid for tho!

Man, you guys are a tough crowd! I'd be pissed about that as well. Modest_Man, I have many 2" of the wild morph, and trust me, they are the real thing. I still have the adult pair. I could possibly have a friend ship some out if you are interested. This is the difference between a fish you can buy at Petsmart and one you can only get online that was EXTREMELY rare until the last 2 years or so so I get the frustration.
