My wild silver saum locks jaws with its umbie tankmate while Some Amphilophus species, Crenicichla cincta, and ex-"Cichlasoma" salvini watch. The umbie looked like it had stronger jaws, but the saum was being way more aggressive and seemed to have an overall advantage. Anyway, here's my crappy pics and, as an added bonus, my first video ever:

I had to isolate the silver saum from the other growouts, he was just being too much of a little meanie. I am really looking forward to when he gets real big though!

Maybe the saum is just getting his licks in while he can, before the umbee gets too big.
