Somewhere
Will catching a wild Atlantic stingray and acclimating him to artificial salt have any problems? Is there any special care I should do in introducing him to a saltwater pond?

Two things....

1) Acclimate them like normal and make sure you are using a good brand of salt... not some cheap junk. They take very well to artificial saltwater.

2) Make sure if you are collecting them yourself to obey the regulations in the area.

Yellows and Atlantics are two different species.
But yes, yellows can be bred in captive situations... assuming you have mature male/female pairs of them. I've got a female with pups right now.
