So I catch a bunch of these guys in a private lake in São Paulo, Brazil and so im curious as of what species im catching. The lake was stocked so I don't think region has any affect but here's one I kept in an aquarium

It's a wolf fish. Looks like a lac but the bottom jaw shot needs to be a bit better in regards to the photo.

I only visit brazil during the summer but I will ask my uncle who cares for them to send some better pictures of the jaw
I've always wanted to try to import fish from Brazil but could never figure out how to get it done with their strict export laws. If there are any importers in São Paulo, I would love to import some of these guys and the other exotics I catch. Let me know if you guys know anyone.

MSay lac for now. The one side is straight and the other curves a bit. Pores would help. Close up shot of the jaws.
