i have 2 18'' t5 6700k 15 watt bulbs right now on my 75gallon. i want to make the tank look more presentable being that its in the livingroom and the familys coming over for christmass. my lfs is selling a 48'' GLO fixture with 2-54 watt T-5 HO bulbs for 150 dalloars. is it worth it. the bulbs would be 6700k. or should i do 10000k. i want the fish to look better. also i wont be growing any plants.
will 2-54watt t-5 HO bulbs brighten up my tank

Adding any light will make you fish tank brighter. Since you already have the 6500k lights I would go with 10000k it will bring out the colour in your fish more.
There is no 10,000K bulb for the Glo fixtures. The 6700K will do quite a bit for you fish, and will make the tank look much brighter.
