No!

If the tap water is directly being poured onto your bio without being dechlor then it may kill off some bb, but if you treat your water and fill your tank or sump no worries!

No - regular partial water changes are good.

I do 40-80% weekly on most tanks...

Just use dechlor.

good bacteria is in the filter not in the water, so changing 70% or 80% weekly is safe imo...

You may not see the effects of chlorine exposure for awhile, but it will destroy the gills over time my friend. Very bad idea!

How hard is of to buy a 8$ bottle of prime that treats 5k+ gallons and put a capful each wc?
