Hi,

I am looking at buying a 2260 second hand.
It comes with all the media, so it's ready to go.

I would like to know if any other 2260 owners could tell me if the 2260 will fit in my cabinet with 66cm of room? Top to bottom.
Is 66cm enough room for me to be able to set-up the filter and be able to remove it from the cabinet without a lot of "colourful" words being used.

Thanks Craig.

BTW, I have looked on the Eheim website at their dimensions but am unsure as to whether they include the pump on top.

hi, just got one of these in a similar deal, height can be reduced by using a different outlet, not fitting the trim over the pump. and if this still doesnt reduce the height enough you can mount the pump on the bottom. top filters! i think eheims measurements are total height including the plastic trim on top.

You need to get the filter dimensions from various sites from the net and measure your cabinet space, including extra room for piping and quick release connections sticking up. Stating that you have 66cm of room is not very useful, you need to compare the cabinets internal LxHxD to the filters.

The dimensions will include eveything that is a part of the filter body.

Just measured mine and you should be fine if you remove the pump cover and if you need a bit more space you can rotate the pump so the outlet from the pump is going out the side and not the top.
