I've got a 6" Ornate Bichir and I'd like to put him in another one of my tanks. It has 5 Starlight Plecos growing out right now that I'd like to find a spawning pair out of down the line. Am I going to need to pull out those starlights first, or do you think the bichir will stay away?
Will a 6" Bichir eat a 2" pleco?

I agree with dr.b i have an ornate that has had problems with smaller fish. Though they were polys, i wouldnt risk losing a pair of starlights that can potentially breed
