wondering if anyone has had any luck keeping the two togeother. i have 2 motoros seperate from my fish right now (due to lack of space) and i want to put them all togeother in one tank in about 5 months. should give it a try or not? Thanks

Bichirs and rays are one of those sometimes work, sometimes doesn't luck combinations. Bichirs can bite at the disk or like you've witnessed go for the eyes. However if the bichir is too small, it could be a great snack (or even full course dinner) for your ray. However there are plenty of people who have kept them together at both a short and long term.
I thought I had a problem with the combo in the past but it turns out it was a pike mine have since been separate but I'm moving the endlicheris back to the big tank...
