And if so, what type?

3 Yellowtail Barracudas
1-2 Bichirs (no idea which kind?)
Fire Eel*
AT Dat*
Clown Knife

* Or do I scrap the Fire Eel and AT Dat for some Silver Dollars? Like Wide Bar if I can find them or some other cool type of silver dollar.

Tank size is 72"x20"x25"

The only reason that shouldn't work is if your bichirs are much larger than the cuda. If you stick with the smaller lower jaw species then no worries at all. If you want a lower jaw you might run into trouble since the cudas have slender bodies and a decent sized bichir could easily eat a smaller sized cuda

The Yellowtail's get a bit larger then the Redtails which is why I picked them over the reds, that and they are a bit more chill then the reds.

For smaller lower jaw is there some way to actually search for a species list? When I google that the results are a bit lack luster.

Thanks

Check the stickies.

Im sure they have a species list.

Pretty much all lower jawed species exceed 18"+

You might want to look into upper jawed then.

Delhezi max around 12"

Senegals usually dont exceed 10"

the clown knife will out grow upper jaw bichirs and eat them.

Not for a long time thought. Maybe I just got lucky but I've kept bichirs as small as 5'' with my royal knife that was just over 2 feet. The bichir was too big to fit in his mouth and he never tried anyway. If it were a baby bichir that looked like a worm then sure but they're thick enough after they grow up a bit and it'll take a while for the knife to get that big anyway if you start small
