will a female con breed with a male smaller than her. I now have a 2.5" female black con with a marble 1.5" con, and i want them to breed. will they?

I had a pair that started breeding when the female was about an inch long and the male was slightly larger.

They will breed. If they don't like each other at first, in a few days drop in something for them to hate on. Just long enough for them to team up and defend the territory. That gets the hormones juiced up. Then they get down to business pronto.
As long as the male is not a coward punk. Then she may deem him unworthy. Chicks dig bad boys.
And bury the nest site. They like to dig it out themselves to show off and give the wink.
