will A heater burn heal ?

Today, My 5 inch NGT got a small spot heater burn (not to bad) on its body. I　am wondering if it is gonna heal? thank you

it all depends on how severe it is, but the majority of heater burns do heal. if you want u can by a heater guard, or us a divider/egg crate to separate the heater form your fishes. GL

Post some pics to be sure, but the scales should regrow. Doubt the tissue behind got burned.
If in doubt, add melafix and up water changes.

I've heard about them but have never seen or understood why a fish would sit up against a heater long enough for it to be burned.

It may have been forced against it during a fight with another fish..

fish regenerate their scale in due time. with proper treatment and TLC it should be up and running healthy in no time.
