Will a jag work in my tank

I'm trading in my africans to just on tanks with the same rquirements. I have a stock that includes

-6 inch ck
-gold sev
-3 bichirs
-1 belly crawler pikes

I plan on trading the fish in tomar and my choice of fish are

-jag cichlids only about 2-3 inches
-pike cichlids
-mosiac gars
-a 7 inch jd
-2 inch salvinis

what will work best i want another jag since im getting my 150 tomar. I was going to get a lima sn but i want a more interesting fish and a jag would be that for me
 
I figure since the jag will be small and the other fish in my tank will be bigger it will help it get along with tankmates
 
Axe the CK and the JD would work, possibly the salvinis. I'd worry about the jag and the sev.
 
As much as i would like to trade or sell the ck i cant it was a gift from my fiance and i told her i would keep as long as i could. The severum is hers too. The best i could do would be to move the severum into the 30 gallon because he isnt growing that fast i think its because hes a deformed fish. To be honest i dont know the exact dimensions of the 150 im getting so i hoping for a thr 60x24 instead of the 72x18 because then i could keep the ck for life
 
i wouold worry bout the jag and salvinis fighting about dominence. the ck wont work. and you forgot to list how many of each. cause its a 150 i would do:
1 jag
3-5 salvini
1 jack dempsey
1-2 pike
1 mosiac gar
+maybe 3-5 other fish about 4-8 inches long either top or bottom swimmers
+what ever plecos you have
you will find that jags produce lots of waste so only do 1, and the salvinis are gonna rule the tank if they out number the jag. hope this helps.
 
Thanks for your input. I had a jag a few years ago and he wasnt too aggressive he just chased fish alot. Its my all time favorite fish really. Why wont the ck work is it because of its future size? I dont plan on buying more than 1 fish really. I would get 1 jag and maybe 1 salvini. These fish would have to live together in a 55 for about a year or so till i get married or if the inlaws let me set it up in place of the 55. Saving money for a house right now The last jag i had lived with a pacu, and oscar a jd, and a midas in a 55 for about 9 months then they went into a 75 then i got rid of all fish when i was having some problems and couldnt keep the tank up. Neve had problems with the fish in the 55
 
the others will pick on him constantly. and btw i kept a clown knife in a 30. he was a runt though, or allready stunted when i got him, he had allready lived 7 years in a 10 gallon:( if you really want him in ther then go for it
 
i think i can get it to work and if it doesnt ill just move fish around. Yea ive had my ck for about 6 months or so and he hasnt grown all that much
