Might be a stupid question...

I had started breeding convicts to use as live feeders for my 2 sens, but conditions started to go south in the 20 with the convicts so I moved them all out at once & early. I probably put 100-200 convicts at 1/2" & under in the 55 with my 2 polys, 2 pictus cats & 1 abk at once a day or two ago.

Now the larger of my two sen's (still only 4 maybe 5") has the largest gut I've ever seen on either of these two sens or the one I lost recently (powerhead fatality).

He doesn't appear to be struggling, but I'm worried he'll just keep eating till something goes wrong & he dies? Is this a legitimate worry?

I think this is the last time I breed convicts (already moved the female into my 65 with the other 2 females) until--maybe--I have enough tank space to give the fry a growout period without slowly overcrowding the parents to death. The 20 is now a hospital for the male convict who wound up with a giant gash on the top of his right side just below the dorsal fin :\

figured, thanks
