just wondering, i have a huge tt eel, no agro, but in a different tank i have 80 to 85 clown loches.
most are large and will not get eated but about 10 are between 2 inches to 2.5 inches.
will this be ok?

Fire that size should be fine, given it's not eating fish fillets or "fish" foods. and as long as there are plenty of hide spots for all. and the fire is well fed.

with that being said I have heard of clown loaches being suspect of killing fire eel tank-mates. and fire eel/CL combo that have worked for years. Most of the long-term co-habitates seem to include extensive hideing opportunities for all.

I keep a 31 inch Fire eel with 25 Neons and have never had a problem.
