the little white ones you gat when you slack on gravel vacking. protizoas i think their called. anyways with a 9wt sterilizer and a low flow rate can they be killed? ive heard salt and heat will do away with them. also the bait trick and getting some corries but im just wondering if the uv will kill them. im def gonna keep up the gravel vacuming and im sure this will help so dont tell me to go do a water change. thanks guys:grinyes:

OK good so if they pass threw the UV their dead. id like to get some barbs or corys but they would be lunch. the discus seems to pick at them a bit but not really getting the job done.

Those worms are in every setup BUT you only see them if you are OVERFEEDING!!!!
Just cut back on feeding and make sure all the food is eaten in 5-10 min. those wroms will go away

i was gone for a week and had my aunt feed them. she let 4-5 carnivore pellets get stuck in my floating plants. that did the trick.

You would be suprised how fast those barbs are. My aro must be getting lazy, cause they get away every time. Plus I haven't feed live food in over a year.

Ya i only see them when i over feed... :D Waterchange never got rid of them for me even down to the bottom and wipe them off!!! I had to rearrange my feeding habits... I started feeding once or twice a week for quite a while...

thanks for reminding me rays are illegal in fl!!!
except southern rays but yuck
