Will aquarium salt harm my new ray?

If I add aquarium salt to my tank to treat one of my dats, will the salt do any harm to the new retic ray I purchased 5 days ago?

Nope if you use it in the right ammount!

a bit of salt is good for rays.
someone hook him up with the exact dosage.

Oh. It was not fully disolved. Ibut did not see ray eat it. I used 1 tablespoon for every 5 gallons.

cool. I did 30 tble spoon for my 100 g tank. I will do wc in 3 days and add the same dose .

you can buy non iodized kosher salt from your food store and use that as well...its alot cheaper than using aquarium salt...
