Pam Pam Pam
Will be in norcal, my old stomping grounds for a few days, was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for any good lfs stores. Some of the ones I use to frequent are no longer around. Was planning on going to superway, connies, and family pets in fremont. I will be looking around and see if there are any oddballs for me to bring back with me. Any suggestions?

6th ave in SF, hung ming in mission st SF, and aquatic central ocean ave SF. There's also aquatraders in san bruno near the SFO airport. I was just there 5 mins ago and they have some small royal clowns, and CB endlis and dels.

July second? one of america's most important holidays? I say you go fishing AND catch an oyster toadfish, they are wonderful fish to keep!

now when you say Norcal,Do you mean Norcal or Central Cali......two different things.

Alot of people from Central Cali frontin as Norcal.

How about a friendly discussion: lets divide the 770 miles north to south miles of california into just three zones, southern, central and northern

And for the sake of this arguement we will use chula vista (32.62845 N, 117.04473 W) as the southern most city and tulelake (41.95415 N, 121.47480 W) as the northen most city than the state of california.

Being conservative we will call the nothren most point 42 degrees and the southern 32.5 degrees so each of the three zones will be 3.17 degrees.

Northern California from 42 degrees north to 38.83 degrees north
Central California from 38.82 degrees north to 35.65 degrees north
Southern California from 35.64 degrees north to 32.5 degrees north

so lets check

Los Angeles (34.11210 N, 118.41120 W) so LA is Southern California... duh
Fresno (36.78060 N, 119.79287 W) so fresno is Central California
Fremont (37.52850 N, 121.99712 W) oh so close, but indeed central Ca
San Francisco (37.65863 N, 122.30839 W) Central
Sacramento (38.56685 N, 121.46736 W) Central
Redding (40.57240 N, 122.36491 W) Northern

Be that as it may, most of central CA is barren: same can be said for Northern Ca. In laymens terms The bay area is Norcal and nothing further north even matters.... no offense Senor, just the way it is

lol okay I seem to have struck a nerve

Ive lived in several areas of Cali North, south, and central, and what it comes down to,no offense,is southern Cali (everything below Grapevine),Central Cali (everything from Grapevine to Sac) and Norcal (everything above Sac).It has been that way with anyone Ive ever discussed the matter with, from L.A. to U.C. Davis to Humboldt and even Redding CA.

Your saying that anything above Frisco "even matters" nothing is pretty harsh,I'm not even going to go into how you can justify saying something like that.Obviously your idea of having importance is being an overcrowded and bustling metropolitan area pushing one million residents or more.

So what it comes down to is that, put quite simply, it is what it is,and Bay area is not Norcal,as you showed yourself.

So did the OP come from Norcal or no?
