I've been looking into various insect products my fish will eat consistently. Biggest problem I've encountered is that most of them are mid level or bottom feeders, and the insect products float even after soaking. I have some canned crickets I will see if my O Brick will eat (he refused them months ago but his tastes change like weather).
There's a product out of freeze dried whole earthworms I plan to try! Instructions say to soak an hour before feeding.
Will give an update when they arrive and how it goes!

My fish fought over them like crazed crackheads. My O Brick tried to eat it all and had a "smoking head" while he ate. One thing I noticed was that one side of the worms would hydrate and be soft like a live worm. the other side would stay much firmer, like soft shell crab.
