I finally got a successful spawn from my imbellis bettas. Unfortunately, my micro worms molded and died when I tried to reculture them. I got so frustrated I decided to take a break and finish up school before trying to breed the bettas again. I got so caught up in school and finding a new job that they got ignored for about a month. Their father jumped out of his tank last week when the lid didn't get secured all the way and I went through the tangle of plants to see how many baby bettas were left. I found 20 but only 10 grew big enough to survive. It is about 8 weeks now and they are only about 1/3 inch long except for one that is 1/2 inch. Both the parents are fairly small (1.5") I am debating on whether to buy them vinegar eels or baby brine shrimp to speed grow them and hopefully they turn out a decent size. Should I bother to try and save them or are they too underdeveloped?
