Will black bar SD's school with red hooks?

I'm getting to Black Bar SD's today, but would feel more comfortable having a school of 5+ of them. Store only has 2 tho, but hav bunch of red hooks and common. Anyone hav luck getting the BB's to school with Red Hooks or common Silver Dollars?

Mines do. Although the Widebars tend to chase the red hooks now and then.

Just picked up 2 Wide Bar n 3 red hooks and yeah, the wide bar do seem more aggressive, chase the red hooks.

I figured the bars would be more aggressive than the hooks and as such dominant, but on the whole do they get along when they're not squabbling?

When there's threat present they all school together, when they are comfortable and have the time to pick at their own it's a little bit dispersed.

I've had black bars with red hooks, reg. silver dollars and silver tipped red hooks.

They will shoal together when its beneficial but they know who is different and will often separate when no threat is present
